1. Overview
FCE One, Inc. ("FCE One," "we," "us") operates the FCE One platform — the unified web application, mobile apps, marketplace, shipping tools, and APIs at fceone.com and related domains. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We wrote this to be readable. If anything is unclear, email privacy@fceone.com and we'll answer.
3. How we use information
- To operate the platform — deliver packages, fulfill orders, process payouts, and route support.
- To secure the platform — detect fraud, prevent abuse, and defend against attacks.
- To improve the platform — understand how features are used and what to build next.
- To communicate with you — service notifications, transactional emails, and (with consent) product updates.
- To comply with law — meet tax, customs, and regulatory requirements.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share information with
We share data only with the parties needed to run the service:
- Other platform participants: sellers see what they need to fulfill your order; drivers and hubs see what they need to deliver it.
- Service providers: hosting (AWS, Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), communications (Twilio, Postmark), analytics (self-hosted Plausible), error tracking (Sentry).
- Carrier partners: only the information required to ship, track, and deliver.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or the platform itself.
- In a transaction: if FCE One is acquired or reorganized, data may transfer — we'll notify you in advance.
5. Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies for three buckets:
- Strictly necessary — sign-in sessions, cart state, fraud prevention. Cannot be disabled.
- Preferences — theme, language, saved filters.
- Analytics — aggregated, privacy-friendly stats (self-hosted, no cross-site tracking).
You can opt out of analytics cookies in Account → Privacy, and tune them at any time via your browser.
6. Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data (except what we must retain for legal/tax reasons).
- Port your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object to, or restrict, specific processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is consent-based.
Most requests are available self-serve under Account → Privacy. For anything else, email privacy@fceone.com — we aim to respond within 30 days (15 under GDPR/CCPA).
7. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active, plus:
- Transaction records: up to 7 years (tax / accounting).
- Fraud & abuse signals: up to 3 years.
- Analytics: aggregated and de-identified after 26 months.
8. How we protect your data
See our full Security page. In short:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- Least-privilege access, logged and reviewed monthly.
- SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS Level 1 via Stripe.
- 24/7 monitoring and independent penetration testing.
9. Children
FCE One is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child provided us information, email privacy@fceone.com and we'll delete it.
10. International users
FCE One is headquartered in the United States at {hq}. If you use the service from another country, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We use appropriate safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
11. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when something changes, and bump the version & date at the top. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice and email, at least 30 days in advance.
